It's hard to get out of that mindset about worrying how people will judge you if your house looks dirty but in the end no-one cared that the dishes weren't washed because they were too busy coo-ing over the baby x Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05185216636216552009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203285934078433651.post-42012245854882185092016-05-23T09:28:45.506+01:002016-05-23T09:28:45.506+01:00I worried about managing everything when we got ho...I worried about managing everything when we got home but what made it harder for me was having a cesarean. I originally started breastfeeding but my daughter was unable to so my partner was then able to do a lot more of the feeds when we switched to formula. I had quite a few takeaways in the first week home too haha. I was so tired even putting stuff in the microwave felt too draining x Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05185216636216552009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203285934078433651.post-83876535307140650772016-05-16T15:07:49.368+01:002016-05-16T15:07:49.368+01:00I love this post and it's definitely helpful f...I love this post and it's definitely helpful for me!
I'm definitely going to get my partner as much bonding time with her as he can and I'm going to attempt combi feeding so both of us get that time to feed her!
I've already been thinking about bulk cooking and freezing some meals to have in the freezer so that if I have days I don't want to cook, I can just take something out of the freezer and pop it in the oven or heat it in the microwave! I'm lucky that we're able to stay at my mum's for the first week and it will most likely be a week of Chinese takeaway! haha
I'm a little worried I'm going to let it all get on top of me when we return to our own home but I'm sure we will manage completely fine!

Jasmine | http://kkochsongi.blogspot.co.ukJasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09568012924898287699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203285934078433651.post-36512328099008227462016-05-12T21:18:19.758+01:002016-05-12T21:18:19.758+01:00Great tips, Thanks for linking up to #TheList x I...Great tips, Thanks for linking up to #TheList x I wasn't able to share on Twitter for you so you might want to check your sharing settings xYou Baby Me Mummyhttp://www.youbabymemummy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203285934078433651.post-89629110611013748142016-05-10T05:04:09.659+01:002016-05-10T05:04:09.659+01:00I have two girls ages 9 and 6 so I totally feel yo...I have two girls ages 9 and 6 so I totally feel you. I was a little out of action too since I had a cesarean and teaching by partner was a little frustrating because I just wanted to do it myself. Like you said though, you soon figure it out and it becomes easier x Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05185216636216552009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203285934078433651.post-47047407685289493322016-05-09T08:09:58.456+01:002016-05-09T08:09:58.456+01:00These are great tips, I know a few first time mums...These are great tips, I know a few first time mums who have really struggled in those first few weeks. You leave the hospital with this baby but no manual on what to do next, you just have to wing it and honestly, as someone without kids, it sounds bloody terrifying!
